Carlson Wireless Announces the Introduction of Their New WirelessHL™ Radio System to Support Wireless Intercom Devices.
Arcata, CA - September 19, 2008 - Carlson Wireless announces the introduction of their new WirelessHL™ radio system to support wireless intercom devices. The wireless intercom feature can provide a ring down generator to all of Carlson Wireless’ popular Trailblazer It can also be integrated into Carlson’s new SafeTCOM™
“The Trailblazer radios are already versatile,” said Bill McBride, Director of Engineering. “The WirelessHL™ gives users the ability to use telephones for simple and direct intercom communications over Trailblazer links.”
Customers can use the wireless intercom for multiple industrial, public safety and enterprise projects including manufacturing plants, oil exploration and mining as well as university campuses, military bases and parking lots. The wireless intercom has already proven valuable in the field.
“One of our customers installed our Trailblazer system utilizing the WirelessHL™ feature to communicate with the dispatcher while at his remote radio site,” noted Chris Spoerle of Carlson’s Customer Service Department, “This can also be called a “Hot Line” like the Bat Phone-- immediate contact from one site to another with no dialing!” Phone Line Extender and Lease Line Emulator radios. The product is available in point to point as well as multipoint systems with a range of up to 50 miles.
