Trailblazer™ MineConnect
Wireless Links for Femco Phones
The Trailblazer™ MineConnect is designed to provide a wireless link for select Gai-Tronics Femco phones, eliminating the need for wirelines in many challenging above and below ground mining and industrial applications. The MineConnect enables reliable, easy and inexpensive installation and relocation of phones in rough terrain and harsh environments. The MineConnect operates in the 2.4 and 5.x GHz bands and is available for point to point and point to multipoint confi gurations with range up to 30 miles.
The MineConnect offers an unmatched set of features:
Frequency Band
Uses a new multi-frequency radio operating in the unlicensed 2.400 to 2.483 GHz and 5.150 to 5.850 GHz bands. Also available in the licensed 4.940 to 4.990 GHz Public Safety Band.
Flexible Platform
Offers a direct phone line interface, no channel bank required. Provides transparent network interface, supporting all PTSN services with Carrier Class/wireline quality of service.
Long Range
Distances of up to 30 miles can be achieved with proper antennas. Repeater capacity further allows you to extend this range and overcome obstacles.
Power Consumption
Trailblazer™ systems draw very low power, typically less than 3 watts per CPE terminal at 12 volts, making them ideal for solar power operation. Trailblazer™ systems accept any DC voltage from 12 volts to 24 volts. Solar power kits available with up to 7 days of integrated battery backup power.
Private and Secure
Fully encrypted, spread spectrum CDMA modulation assures complete privacy.
Rugged and Weatherproof
MineConnect terminals are housed in a rugged NEMA 4X waterproof enclosure, built to last in industrial environments.
